Median Sales Prices Per SqFt increased from $112 to $119 per sqft, +6.25 percent.

Days On Market, or the time it takes to sell a West Baton Rouge home, decreased from a median 73 days in 2016 to 45 days in 2019.

Includes Detached Single Family, Attached Single Family and Manufactured Housing

NOTE: The 2 Median Sales Prices Are BEFORE Seller Paid Concessions Are Deducted. What this refers to is when the seller pays the buyer’s closing cost, typically $4,000 to now in 2019 up to $8,000.  When West Baton Rouge Home Appraisers employ these sales as “comparables”, we deduct or subtract these $4,000 to $8,000 to reflect cash equivalency or what the home sold for without the concessions. So, these numbers above are inflated to some extent.

NOTE: Days On Market = median days on market.

NOTE: Homes are generally selling for 99% of the last listing price.
